Mobile baccarat while waiting for the bus, normal or weird?
Missed the first bus and had twenty minutes before the next one, so I sat on the bench and opened a baccarat table a friend had texted earlier. It was the mobile version, small screen, cards flipping without much fuss. Played three hands, banker’s side won two of them, and I closed it when the bus lights showed up down the street. Felt quicker than the ones I’ve seen on a laptop.

Card games on a phone always look a little cramped to me when I’m standing. Watched someone play a few hands at a stop last month and the cards took up most of the screen. He seemed fine with it. I prefer when there’s room to set the phone down and still see the whole table. Reminds me of the old handheld poker games that fit in a pocket but made you squint. Different from sitting at an actual table where the cards are big and someone else is dealing. I still end up watching the people more than the screen when I’m out.
